Description

This is part of a university project, illustrating the story of "Vasalisa the Beautiful" by Ivan Bibilin.

I have made an interractive book of the story in flash and you can take a look here [link]

All of the images are sketched and shaded with line and cross-hatching in pencil. Then they were scanned, set to "Multiply" and shaded behind for colour in photoshop...With an added tissue paper texture made from layers of tissue paper creased, glued then scanned.

I think it's wonderful how you've been drawing her eyes. It makes her feel sick, like she is dying. All of your textures are so wonderfully done. They enhance the quality of the pieces so much!
